Jason Gurley

By day, I'm a user experience designer; by evenings/weekends, I write novels from my home in Scappoose, Ore. My newest is Awake in the World, published February 2019 by Roaring Brook Press; my previous novel, Eleanor, was published by Crown in 2016 and has since been translated into German, Portuguese, and Turkish. I’m currently working on a new project.

Giveaway: Custom-illustrated Eleanor hardcover no. 2

Back in March, I gave away a special edition of Eleanor with a full-color illustration hidden on the book's hardcover (beneath the dust jacket). Happily, it's time to do it again!

This time, the illustration depicts the Keeper's dark, mysterious valley, and Eleanor's meteoric appearance in its skies. Here's what it looks like:

Some details: This is a U.S. first hardcover edition of Eleanor, published by Crown earlier this year. The illustration, titled "Eleanor arrives in the valley," is located on the front cover board, beneath the dust jacket, and signed by me. The medium is pen and watercolor markers. The book will also be signed on the main title page, and inscribed to the winner of the contest, if they so wish.

How to enter: The contest begins Sunday, May 15, and will end on Sunday, May 22. There are multiple ways for you to enter — just see the entry form below to learn more. (You can even enter multiple times to improve your chances!)
